Latest evidence

Chess-results.com lists 2 Portuguese-federation tournaments in 2025–2026, both held 2025-06-08, with 'Xadrez no Museu de Sesimbra - Capela de S. Sebastião' in the title and 'AXPORTUGAL/CHESSPORTUGAL' as organiser. Organiser and venue are taken from the chess-results search listing, not from the tournament page. A municipal agenda entry "Circuito de Xadrez" was seen as a search snippet only (the page did not load); the snippet gives Sunday 2025-06-08, organised by AXPortugal and ChessPortugal, and the tournament records confirm that date. No 2026 edition found.
