Latest evidence

Chess-results.com lists 21 Portuguese-federation tournaments in 2025–2026, held between 2025-01-03 and 2026-10-02, with '... Clube de Xadrez de Sintra' as organiser and the title prefix 'CX Sintra'. The latest, held 2026-10-02, was 'Torneio de Outubro do CX Sintra (sexta-feira 2/10/2026, 20h30)'. Organiser and venue are taken from the chess-results search listing, not from the tournament page. 'CX Sintra' in titles is an abbreviation. The AXL weekly-meetings page lists the Friday meeting; the club's own site has a 2026 footer. AXL announced on 2026-06-26 that CX Sintra is suspended from all future AXL individual and team competitions over unpaid fees since 2020/21.
