Latest evidence

Chess-results.com lists 42 Portuguese-federation tournaments in 2025–2026, held between 2025-01-26 and 2026-08-16, with 'Dia Xadrez Fábrica da Pólvora de Barcarena' in the title (numbered editions) and 'AXPortugal / Fábrica da Pólvora de Barcarena' as organiser. The latest, held 2026-08-16, was '44º Dia Xadrez Fábrica da Pólvora de Barcarena …'. Organiser and venue are taken from the chess-results search listing, not from the tournament page. The Viral Agenda venue page lists the 44th Dia de Xadrez on 2026-09-27 and earlier 2026 editions, all by AXPortugal. A protocol between AXPortugal and the Fábrica for regular chess events is stated on the 2023 event page.
