Latest evidence

Chess-results.com lists 8 Portuguese-federation tournaments in 2025–2026, held between 2025-03-01 and 2026-10-03, with 'Secção do IFCT' / 'Secção de Xadrez do Independente...' as organiser, the club in the titles, and venue 'Sede IFC Torrense'. The latest, held 2026-10-03, was '1º Torneio FIDE Semi-Rápidas do IFCT (03/10)'. Organiser and venue are taken from the chess-results search listing, not from the tournament page. IFCT is an abbreviation of Independente Futebol Clube Torrense (spelled out in the venue or organiser field of other tournaments). The club is listed in the AXS club list 2025/2026 (page 'Última atualização: 02/08/2026').
